Bold Moves.

bigstockphoto_hike_on_sunset_3681544What bold moves are you and your organization making lately?  This is a time to ACT, not to hide.  However tempting it may be at this moment to just curl up and wait until the storm has passed, what will really pay off are the actions you dare to try out now that you previously couldn’t even imagine!  For instance, trying new forms of viral marketting or customer loyalty programs that impact the long run.

One of the challenges we face nowadays is that of holding on to a wider vision focused on more than just surviving.  As my colleagues Judy Bell and Daniel Ellenberg say, going into “thrive” mode, as opposed to “survive” mode.  Those two could not be any more different.  The whole mental structure changes, including brain chemistry, thought patterns and decision making, not to mention stress levels.

If you are finding it difficult to focus on bolder moves when overdue payments start piling up, it is getting hard to find clients and cash flow has slowed to a virtual halt, you are not alone.  Set aside time for regular thinking about how to make bolder moves NOW that will create the future you want.  Schedule a weekly meeting with your colleagues.  Bounce ideas back and forth.  Be creative!  The boundless energy you will be left with will carry you through day to day essentials with a better frame of mind.
